Malia and I started collecting and showing contemporary art around 1995/96.

The LO-FI gallery was the very beginning for us.

We started Andenken Gallery in 1997.

Andenken was a catalyst to continue collecting, and we were already influenced by other amazing collections we had seen. In particular the Anderson Collection in San Fransisco and the Hess Collection in Napa Valley.

We moved to the Netherlands from Colorado in 2008 and started Mather:Kunst as our Amsterdam office.

What to know when you sell or trade with us... We are fair honest and diplomatic.

If you purchase something and it shows up to you 'all messed up' or you are 'not satisfied' we will work with you until you are satisfied.
