Terrific Fecal Face Interview with this Iconic Artist and Curator

Most reviews of Rich Jacobs come from poeple who have met him.  To meet Rich is to meet one of the most generous hearts going, and that is not an advertisement.  Personal thoughts aside...

His contributions to contemporary progressive art culture cannot be overstated.  Rich, is as intregal as curator Aaron Rose for nurturing and showcasing the young talents of many of the now commonly referred to 'Beautiful Losers' group of artists.  His series of MOVE exhibtions are obvious standards and are some of the
most crucial exhibtions and historical accounts of the Mission Street Artists..  Artists like Barry McGee, Margaret Killgallen and Phil Frost were some of Rich's early exhibition participants.

Rich's own artwork is  as iconic as any of the favorite names thrown around in the American Street art genre, including Shepard Fairey, ESPO, Barry McGee, KAWS, Phil Frost and whomever else you can think of.

Recently Rich is curating a traveling exhibition,  'There is Xerox on the Insides of Your Eyelids'
a history of 80's Skateboarding Zines.
This is an
immensely appropriate collection which highlights the importance and long alliance between contemporary art and skatebaording culture.
