Kelsey’s first professional life was as a biologist. Animal Imagery in his artwork is a natural progression.
His paintings and drawings and prints often combine animal and human forms into totemic compositions.
These paintings feel meditative and hypnotic. .
Animals in Kelsey’s paintings often seem as sexual spirit guides and often express bliss.
Kelsey recently unleashed his third solo show at London’s influential Lazarides Gallery, ‘Desires Of The Soul’.
