Buff Monster is one of my personal favorites.
For a street artist, Buff has faced some true tests with graffiti writers.
Although he has consistantly cited graffiti as a massive influence on his work, and in his youth was an active writer himself in Hawaii, he has had to endure intense anger and criticism of his very bold very pink very graphic street work by graffiti artists. Eat your own I guess.
In recent years Buff has been a popular influence on collectible vinyl toys with dozens of releases for several toy makers.
His room at the Hotel Des Arts has been a set for Vivid Entertainment and Hustler Magazine.
Other than Graffiti he cites heavy metal and porn as influences.
